Friday 26th JULY 2019 Launch of the impressive First edition book by new author Dr Anita Rogers Burrell.

"Badly Chopped Carrots and Everyday Dinners - Life as a Canadian in Rural Wales" is a fascinating look at how the author adjusted to life in a rural community in Wales, and especially about the importance of food to overcome feelings of isolation. Part Memoir and part recipe book, it is a beautifully-produced book that is a pleasure to read.

In August 2017, author Dr Jacqueline Jeynes presented 4 sessions on “Writing non-fiction – Write what you know!” so a chance to think about using your own knowledge and expertise to put a piece of writing together that could well lead to publication.

“You can read about what happens there, and how enthusiastic everyone is when they leave, on our Blog page/ / and . I shall also put up some hand-out notes here so look out for those if you are considering trying out the non-fiction route.”
